While you are certainly welcome to your opinion, you really don't get 
much of a say in what the committers should be approving unless you are 
actively contributing to the project. Become an active contributor (i.e. 
part of the product development team), and you'll be included in 
decisions like this. Just complaining about decisions that have already 
been made doesn't seem all that productive.
