Why does this framework have to be blessed by WordPress?

The only real endorsement you need is from plugin authors. If it really
is a good idea (and it sounds like one) then there is no reason to wait
for some endorsement from on high.

The WordPress Codex is a wiki. Anyone can add documentation. Sure,
others can also take it down, but we rarely remove good stuff and you
can watch your page to see what changes are made.
