[wp-hackers] Plugin Version Control & Source Code Hosting?

Yeah, that's kinda cool, but I've learned the hard way not to get too used to a process that depends on a feature provided by an add-on that really should be part of core if it's going to be there (core O/S, core app, etc.)  Especially something that is freeware and may not get upgraded for the next major version.
