Probably if someone could point out (as a Trac comment on this bug) 
the specific places in the WP admin screens and/or the WP standard 
functions where faux-arrows are being used (and are hard-coded with no 
way to override the default besides hacking WP core), that would be a 
help to anyone looking to fix this bug.
