What I don't like about that is that when you do a search in the codex,
you can't really tell that it's a function.

Just like Wikipedia -- *groans* --  get_posts (function) -- should be
the title of the article or in a new namespace "Function:get_posts"

Again I still think even the http://phpdoc.wordpress.org doesn't allow
user examples. A mix of the Codex and PHPDoc would be something like the
PHP.net function reference site.

Tutorials could still be posted and then there could be user comments.
Just another 2 cents.
