[wp-hackers] add_meta_box without checked?

Hello,

my problem:
i add metaboxes to the post and page-area in backend. Default was add the
box on all users.
I will add new boxes without default add the box, only when add this boxes
on the metabox-prefs , the "Show on screen" options.

An idea for this problem?
I have no found a hook or script to do this, only the function
manage_columns_prefs() for add the checkboxes.
