[wp-hackers] new post status : ban (/deleted)

Since there is a validation process now, what is the proper status for
a "submitted for review" post when the editor does not want to publish
the post ?
"draft" ... "pending" .... editor want to publish = "publish"... do
not want = "???"

Of course posts can be deleted. But keeping banished posts in database
can be useful for further references and cross checking.

What do you think ? Should I keep my idea to myself and hack a new
status into the database (I do need this status), or is the idea worth
of submitting ?
