[wp-hackers] Different title in menus

Hi all,
I use wp_list_pages to show the sub-pages of a particular section of my
site, but I regularly want a different title to appear in the menu than what
appears in "the_title" on my pages; is there any way of showing a different
title in menus than the one that is outputted from "the_title", or should I
hardcode the <h2> in my page content; or perhaps use a custom field?
