I track the current branch. Theoretically, the branch is receiving 
mostly bugfixes. And any new features that do go in will not be major 
changes likely to break anything. I just keep an eye on the svn mailing 
list to see what changes are going in. If something particularly 
important to me is fixed or added, I update.
