[wp-hackers] Counting the number of users who can publish posts

Does anyone know if there's a reasonably straightforward SQL query I
can run to calculate the number of users who can publish posts?
Because of the way roles now work (and can be changed by plugins),
it's not as simple as just checking how many entries in wp_usermeta
there are with a value for wp_user_level greater than 1.
