[wp-hackers] Plugin activation fatal error

reporting = production
logging = sysadmins who dont want to have to look through error logs, and would rather just turn on debugging if someone complains
(And being in a shared environment, There'd be lots of errors thanks to non-great-programmers, which could cause the log file to fill up quicklyl)
