[wp-hackers] Category table

I need to do some maintenance to move all the uncategorized posts into 
one particular category on one of my blogs. I thought I'd just do a 
quick SQL command. However, wp_posts.post_category seems to be 0 for all 
except one post on the blog so I'm thinking I'm not looking in the right 
place. Where in the tables does WordPress (2.5 if that matters) store 
the information about which posts are in which categories?
