When you say "all modern browsers", are you including browsers such  
as are found on mobile devices?  The iPhone seems to have set the new  
standard for mobile browsers (or maybe i should say "raised the  
bar"), and I think a lot more people will be using these or similar  
to blog in the future.

(as has been recently discussed on this list regarding making an  
iPhone WP interface.  Really, the iPhone handles the existing  
interface amazingly well as it is.)
