[wp-hackers] Themes Being Unofficially Distributed with Security Vulnerabilities - Time for an Official Theme Repository?

http://themes.wordpress.net is where I point people, but it just  
occurred to me that I'd like to see it work more like the plugins  
directory -- svn access, readme files, and all that _and_ notification  
of updates.
