Could we consider wonder-plugin-v1.2.3.zip? Getting SVN version could be
the default, unless a version string can be extracted from the plugin /
README.

SOT: I've often wondered why WP.org serves up latest.tar.gz (or .zip),
remaining unspecific about both the version and the actual software name
contained in the download file.
