have been spec'd for release already. We're talking about the future
development direction (or, at least, we were on that WP 3.0 thread).
I'm fine with stability and not pissing off the user community right
now, but I think there are a lot of great reasons to look to PHP5+ (as
Robert's post demonstrates). There's a lot of wickedly-cool stuff
that not having 5 around restrains us from doing.
