[wp-hackers] Categories in reverse order

Hi, I'm trying to understand a strange behaviour experienced in my Wordpress (2.2 stable). When I call 

the_category()

in my theme, it shows categories in reverse order: first children and parent after. Is this a problem related to my settings somewhere? With WP 2.1 everything was ok.

Example:

- Category1
 * subCategory1
 * subCategory2

(at the end of my posts with Wp 2.1) filed under category1 > subCategory1
(at the end of my posts with Wp 2.2) filed under subCategory1 > Category1

I restored a backup of my DB in the meanwhile (and upgraded to 2.2 again), but nothing changes.
