*The* common acronym is LAMP.  It originally stood for
Linux/Apache/MySQL/Perl, but it has been expanded to include PHP and
Python for "P", and occasionally "W" instead of "L" for Linux.

AMP is registered trademark of NYPHP, they've got a lot of members from
the local BSD group, which is probably why they found it difficult to
call themselves a LAMP/WAMP group.
