I use SVN, but many people don't have SSH or SVN available to them.
If they have SSH but no SVN it's just as easy to wget or lftpget the new
version and unzip I guess....

Are they using some sort of PHP Patcher web-accessible script? Because other
than that they have SSH access...

Unless this is for *trying* (read: failing) to merge differences they've
made to their source?
