Well, to further the discussion, we've agreed on a tag, WPadvanced to
attempt to lure more knowing eyes on issues outside the normal support forum
skill sets.

feed://http//wordpress.org/support/rss/tags/wpadvanced is the feed link from
the forums.

I'll monitor the feed myself to be sure no unsuspecting threads get tagged.
Also know the feed generates an update any time a post is added to any
thread tagged, not just when new threads are created.

However this shouldn't be an issue, as the tag is only intended for threads
needing a higher level of attention, not general ones, meaning it
*shouldn't* be a high traffic feed.

Any suggestions on better attempting this idea still appreciated.
