Exactly.  It's good for a lot of reasons.  Unfortunately I can't track
down the websites where I gleaned this little bit of knowledge from
(content-type before title).  I ran into the info a couple times while
reading-up on getting my plugins to handle extended character sets.
The page Paul listed says the content-type meta should be listed in
the HEAD section as soon as possible, although it doesn't specifically
say it should be the first thing.

Oh well, it's not that big of a deal.
