[wp-hackers] blog directory on the same level as pages

RedirectRule ^blog/?$ /index.php [QSA,L]
No? Alternatively you could specify the Page ID in the query string of
the first rule.
It's also just occurred to me that feeds and things will be in /feed/
rather than /blog/feed/.
