Hi Denis,

Thanks for your comments. I'm glad to see that people are taking the
report I produced seriously.

I think that your comments about the topics that I overlooked are
valid, and this is one of the reasons I released the report as a draft
(but time commitments have meant that I haven't been able to update
it).

I'm not sure I understand what you're getting at here, so if you can
elaborate this for me, that would be great.

As for self-promotion, I have the luxury of getting the jobs that I
dream of without needing to go crowing about myself. So that wasn't my
motivation at all. This report was my first foray into giving back to
the OSS community that has given me some really cool software.

Like Terrence said in a subsequent post, take a look at each of the
recommendations and evaluate them.
