[wp-hackers] No way to stop feeds

Hi all,

I just realized that there is no option, or setting to turn off the
feeds generated by a WP blog.

Due to the way the wp-rss2.php etc files are constructed, at least one
post is delivered in the rss feed, even when the number of posts to be
displayed in the rss feed is set to a "0" in the Options->reading
page.

It would be great if someone could suggest a way a plugin (or a user)
can "turn off" the feeds for a blog, short of deleting the feed files.
