WordPress Openness (was Re: [wp-hackers] UI development for 1.6)

Usually I just lurk 'cause my own project demands too much time of me to 
fully engange in WP discussion although I do glance over it, but I had 
to react to Tarique.

Tarique,

Forking should be the *LAST* option available for any developer, because 
if everybody just forked at any disagreement we wouldn't have such a 
thriving Free/Libre Open Source Software community. Please try always to 
resolve these matters by discussion and hopefully some form of 
consensus. This will ultimately benefit more people than just forking.
