[wp-hackers] 1.6-do-not-use, PHP warning in Categories (when write post)

When I upgrade to r2735 (and wp-admin/upgrade.php, of course), I found
there are some PHP warning when I write post:

I trace the code and found it's because this patch:

I revert this function then it works fine.
