No, moderation is just approved = 0.  Approved = 1 is posted for reading, approved = 'spam' is spam and hidden from even moderation list normally (or was in 1.5rel)

    Ah, right. I suppose next to the "Delete Checked" there should be a
    "Mark as Spam" button.
