Hi, all. I wanted to see if anyone happened to have any ideas
regarding the forum topic in the subject line. The site url is:
www.soutarwriters.co.uk

I'm not as much an expert on multisite as I'd like, but I responded to
this gentleman because no one else had for several days. In essence,
he's getting 504 errors when he tries to log into his dashboard.

He's running the current version of WordPress, but the 2010 theme.
Server error logs are not available due to hosting provider's
policies. I had him set the debug line in wp-config.php to true. He
reset this, so I can't show you what I saw (I did ask him to reset it
again in case anyone might like a look), but, in essence, even before
the doc type statement, was an error about add_option being depricated
on line 3510 of wp-includes/functions.php. I've seen that error in
association w/custom scripts, etc., but generally not the first thing
out of the box.

So I guess I'm wondering:
a) Does 2010 still work w/the current version of WP?
b) Does anyone have any other ideas? I guess I'm a bit concerned,
given where that message appeared, as to the possibility of a site
compromise, but I know that since that's where my expertise tends to
lie, I might be focussing too narrowly, i.e., when you specialize in
hammers, everything looks like a nail.
