[wp-forums] Good solution?

Usually when I ask someone to post a link I try to remember to ask them to post it in a "dot" format. This person posted the link without someone asking for it. I think we should review our policy about links. I am not sure leaving one up for continuity is valid especially after so many end up as 404's over the years. Maybe they should expire after 1 or 2 years if someone requests it.
