Saw this on some other forums too, including one guy who had it
happening with a static HTML site. Sounds like some new security
configuration on their shared hosting. GoDaddy has a great tendency to
implement ridiculous security that causes problems for edge cases.
They did it to me once, which is why I am now using DreamHost instead.

Technical detail: They once blocked anything that contained
"eval(base64_decode"... at the IP stack level. This block happened to
include my posts that talked about that sort of thing. It also
included FTP, as I found out when trying to transfer a test file.

Bottom line is that nobody can fix the problem but GoDaddy. I would
suggest that moving to a better hosting service would be the long term
solution.
