He's got a point though, in some places we are WAY too fast to toss off 
a standard reply.

Just saying 'Premium theme, too bad, so sad!' is bad of us. It's not 
helpful, it's dismissive, and if you're already having a bad day, well 
gee thanks, now it's extra bad! This is why I totally hate using stock 
replies :/ it feels, to me, like we're not reading and replying in the 
language that the user is speaking.

Look, I know I say this a lot, but you DO NOT HAVE TO REPLY TO EVERYTHING.

I would way rather see a bunch of us giving helpful, informative, 
answers, than one-line copy/pastas.

Don't have an answer? Don't feel like you can be civil to someone? Feel 
yourself getting a little angry? Walk away. When you don't, you're

(FWIW, I try to only use copy-pasta when I'm closing a post, or when a 
new version of WP has been released, and someone didn't read the sticky 
where, oh look, their question is answered.)
