[wp-forums] Loving the new Plugin Reviews system, but...

Hello, folks.
I know this is probably a hairy topic, so I'm going to get right to it.
As mentioned on the subject line, I really love the new Plugin Review
system. It provides way more transparency and scope to the whole process,
so hurrah for that!
However, what do we do about reviews that reveal more a lack of
understanding / knowledge / expertise on the user's end than an actual
issue with the plugin?
Here are some examples with one of the plugins I contribute with, Ultimate
TinyMCE:
*1.*
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/doesnt-work-with-wordpress-351%E2%80%93sv_se-1?replies=9
The review's title went from "doesn't work" to "dort of works", and finally
to "works" as he was discovering how to use it. However, he changed his
original review from 1 star to 2 stars only.
*2.*

The user makes completely groundless claims and borderline rude remarks
about the author's programming skills.

Both reviews are completely unfounded and unappreciative of the work that
is being put into this plugin on a daily basis (specially the last one). I
think WP needs to do something about this (provide a chance for developers
to contest these reviews or monitor them closer, I don't really know),
because otherwise you will end up completely alienating devs. On users'
end, I don't that completely subjective reviews help anybody other than
those posting them.

Many thanks in advance, and my apologies if my e-mail comes off slightly
more assertive than recommended, but we believe this to be a rather
pressing matter.
Thanks!

Marventus
