[wp-forums] Users changing their site urls: idea

"I changed the site address in General settings to http://example.com 
because I didn't want /wordpress in my url and now my site looks awful 
and I can't log back in. Help!"

How many of these have you seen or fielded today? Personally, I've lost 
count of the number I've dealt with since this morning.

So if anyone else wants to wade in, or vote, on

please feel free.

I'm suggesting a really tiny change and it is flagged as "under 
consideration" but, if it did get accepted into core, I think (hope) we 
would see a significant drop in these kinds of posts.
