@Kathryn and @Andrea: agreed on all counts, of course. The 10-line limit is
a reasonable, practical limit - as a *ballpark* figure, for precisely these
(and other) reasons. Line numbering, column width, and syntax highlighting
(or lack thereof) all make in-thread code more difficult to read/use.
