Precedent has already been set for the Admin Bar, however. When
people starting having a fit, we pointed them to the various ways you
could turn it off, turn it off for SOME, turn it off for all, turn it
on for all, or minimize it.

IMO this is not a case of REVERSING a decision, but pointing out the
flexibility of a product that allows you to enhance it for your own
needs. I can see why it grabs at you, though, when you look at it
from the POV of a WP Dev. :) Perspective, it's a mother.

So with THAT in mind, I pulled both the 'site link Otto Fix' and the
'HTML font' bits and instead put in this:

<strong>I don't like how the new admin section looks</strong>

The WordPress Dashboard was designed with the future direction of
WordPress in mind and there are no plans to revert it.

Now MY gut says we could tell people how to style their admin side via
CSS, and that's okay.
http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_Admin_Themes is pretty out of
date, though, and I'm tempted to give it a quick addition of how to
style it with CSS and a mu-plugins plugin, to get people started and
let them customize it if they wanted.
