[wp-forums] Proposed changes

I've been quietly monitoring the discussion regarding changes to the
forum the last couple of weeks and have to say I'm impressed. I used
to help out in the forums often but due to several reasons  (the
attitude of a few of the volunteers, the forum needing an overhaul and
other reasons I'll not go into here) I haven't been very active for
some time.

The changes proposed by some members of this list is great news and
makes me excited about helping out again. Nice to see the initiative.
