Ive questioned why I even bother countless times. It can only be the sense
of satisfaction that comes from helping someone that truly takes in the
information you give them. Unfortunately, those are few and far between.
I whole-heartedly agree with the first sentence. I totally relate to the
second paragraph.
And that's why I've been dormant for [way] too long. It became a chore and a
job. I lost the internal reward feelings and confused that with expecting
external rewards. And that's when the "spark" is lost for volunteer support
(just imho, of course).
And with that I'll back to muttering into my beard over in the corner.
