[wp-forums] Your WordPress forum

One thing I've always liked about the "Your WP" area is that people
can point out obvious mistakes and give helpful suggestions that the
site owner may never have asked about. So, in a way, it does (at
least sometimes) serve to help people to learn WordPress.
However, I'm 100% against the posts that are not seeking advice on
their site and posted only for SEO and traffic reasons. That's where,
like Jeff said, the showcase would be more fitting.
So if we could enforce/make clear the fact that it's only suitable to
post if you're seeking advice, and that all other links, spam or not,
will be removed, would that be too iffy to enforce? If it would be
too difficult to be universally fair in deleting posts, I'd be all for
getting rid of that area.
I think nofollowing the links is a must, BTW.
I plan on being more active for awhile now; I had some tests to cram
for, but now that they're out of the way I'll have more time to
contribute.
