Perhaps the plugin is or was installed on the WordPress forum
previously, i'm pretty sure i recall a discussion that indicated posts
had to be moved to the advanced forum, and users could not post there
(or maybe i was reading about a bug, i can't remember enough to say for
sure).
This might be something that bbPress 1.0 handles (any ideas of that
mrmist?). Is anyone aware of any plans or discussion relating to the now
long overdue(well i feel it is) upgrade of the forum.
Seems to be alot of avenues for WordPress discussion, would anyone care
to blatantly point out somewhere/anywhere in particular i should be
looking for shall we "top brass" discussion? Or are these kind of things
kept for private communications?
My thinking is simply this, if there are plans for changes to the
forum/site, then i'm probably wasting time seeking changes to the
existing system when it's subject to change anyway.
I'm quite happy to install bbPress 0.9 and work on some mods if i feel
it's worth my time, but it would be helpful to know of any plans that
may exist before i go doing anything like writing customisations, i
loathed the bbPress code last time i looked at it, but i've come a long
way since then so i'm optimistic.
Penny for your thoughts?
