[wp-forums] Read Topics

Wondering if others are seeing this behavior.

Since the (presumed) upgrade to the forums recently, topics no longer
include query string vars about how many posts are in the topic. Thus, once
I've read one, the link never changes back to unfollowed as folks respond.

Makes it tough to spot updates in my Profile view.

Is this by design?  If so, is there a new way to keep tracks of topics where
we've participated but not seen the latest updates?
