[wp-forums] Auto-close threads?

Hey, this is kinda cool...  While searching for something in the forums
earlier today I noticed that a lot of older topics were closed.  Not marked
[Closed], as if a mod closed, but with a closed message at the bottom and no
ability to continue the topic.

Cool!

I'm assuming that's by design?
What are the parameters?  Is there anything we should be aware of?  Is it
based on last post to the topic or topic origin date or ... ?

Neat stuff though.  Thanks to whomever added it.  I recall we discussed it
here a few months ago and it seemed like a generally well received idea.
