NICE! I would suggest that a pale yellow colour be used to highlight the
section, as it is a "cautionary" colour which calls attention to something
important.
* Big search box, keyed to forums-only
NICE! I would suggest that the default text in the search form field be
something other than "posts", as in "enter search term(s) here" -- words to
that effect, anyway.
Another suggest that I have is that the CSS for the sticky and search areas
be done so as to set them apart somewhat from the rest of the page. They
need to be seen as separate and distinct so they don't simply blend into the
rest of the page. The "READ ME FIRST" and "THEN SEARCH" headings should not
be styled like the HOT TAGS, LATEST DISCUSSIONS or FORUMS headings. They
need to really stand out.
* Forums box on top
I like this. Sorry, Podz! :)
* Start new topic link
The two topic links should be much more prominent. I'm not sure I understand
"Main Theme - Start New Topic" wording.
In my opinion, "[closed] Forum Rules" isn't a particularly friendly

Perhaps "Forum Etiquette"? What about "Forum Decorum"? "Forum Guidelines"?
The Tag Cloud is a waste of space on the front page. For me, it has always
been visual clutter, and is not very useful. Clicking on CSS as a tag covers
such a broad spectrum of issues that I dare say that many of the tags are
useless. If the tag cloud got its own page, or disappeared completely, I for
one would not miss it.
Great to see things happening and lots of discussion around the changes.
Craig.
