Every time I visit the forums I see spam there, sometimes quite subtle. 
That's why I originally did the link thing. Not to mention the 
*thousands* of spam profiles.

Forum posts are a new type of content to Akismet, it may take a few days 
to adapt but when it does we'll see the 99.9% protection that it 
provides for comments.
