Personally, never give a crap about what forums a post is in. Granted, I
wouldn't mind an easier way to ignore a forum, but it doesn't keep me awake
at night.
Bar a handful. no. So why give that list prime position?

Leave the list at the bottom.

And leave latest discussions where they are.

IMO the forums need 2 changes:

other thread, that this isn't a democracy.
You've already stated, twice now in as many days, that you believe you know
what needs to be done.
So for gawd's sake man, do it. Fewer emails here, more changes there.

Probably because any change at all would be nifty.
And probably because a fearless leader (you) posted a screen shot and asked
if would work. Folks hoping for change may have interpreted that as "holy
crap, somethings going to to change, and all I need to do is say Yes or No
here."
