Paginating recent posts?
Why?
They go into forums - and they paginate.

Please remember that it is users that we must think of here, not what we
happen to think might look nice.

Point well understood... and I was just thinking in terms of usability,
shortening the list of recent topics would be less confusing to new users
unfamiliar with the forums.
However, on my list of things I'd like to see happen, this falls to the very
bottom. I only mentioned pagination because it was already mentioned for
benefiting the people who come to help, and the fact that quite often, that
"latest" thing scrolls through pretty quickly... that's all. I'm not married
to the thought, just wanted to mention it.

I do like everything else though!!! :) :) :) :) :)

+1,111,111,111,111 for working something up like that mockup you made, P...
again, maybe with a real attention getting header that says "Read these
first!" or something... but that's totally the right idea there.
