I do - and here's why.

First, I would very much favour some way for a plugin / theme author to
be able to tag their work (all of it with a single tag) and for that to
be a feed. If a plugin author is after feedback, this is a way to do it.
And for that tag to be concealed from all - including Google.

My problem though relates to success.
If I wrote a very useful plugin, I wrote an excellent readme, and I took
time on my site to answer comments left to the point that I served my
users extremely well so they did not need the forums, where is my 'wp
juice' ?
On the other hand .......... my cup would overflow.

This is NOT to say that was the original thinking that prompted my post
- far from it. I just expanded on the "juice" sentence.
