I'm not sure what you mean?

The 'user levels' in the forum software right now are:
Blocked
Inactive
Member
Moderator
Administrator
Keymaster
I don't know whether a new user group is a solution because I don't know 
if or how the existing levels can be changed.

I do think though that we need to have a transparent method of 
maintaining the forums. It was for such a reason that I asked for this 
list to be created - I can remember Matt saying we'd have nothing to 
talk about :) - because before that although it was apparent from 
certain titles who could do what there was no openess, no way of 
challenging the status quo, no way to discuss things in a calmer atmosphere.

I'm against any sort of hidden mechanisms. Partly because I think we 
should be open but partly because it creates problems:
Troublemaker - "I'm a mod and I'll delete your post"
Mod - "No you aren't"
"Yes I am"
"No you are not"
repeat ad nausem.

Maybe I've got the wrong end of the stick but I think closing things is 
a step in the wrong direction.
