[wp-forums] Titles/Promotions/Labels

Sorry, I was away for a week <g>. (Had to go to Amsterdam for a conference,
it's terrible the things I have to do for my job...)

I still think it's a good idea, for all the reasons previously mentioned. I
think the problem is getting the details more or less right - how the titles
(or whatever) are awarded, what (if any) levels we have, and so on. My only
concern would be that the people best placed to make the decisions are the
volunteers who are already making huge efforts on the forums (like you, for
instance). 

I also think that this kind of discussion is likely to drift off as people
have mostly said what they have to say, and everyone's waiting for someone
to come up with a more concrete proposal. The way forward may be to draw up
a list of the proposed titles and some suggestions for how they might be
awarded (number of noticeable useful answers, discretion of mods,
whatever...)

The discussion about how or if we should 'promote' people or otherwise 
give them a title in the forums died a death it seems.
Is it worth pursuing or it it to be dropped ? Ideas either way ?
