An idea:
I mentioned realworld code examples before.
Now this depends on the structure of the pastebin - but given that we 
can do this job the pastebin format is no biggie.

Donate some code.
We ask for code snippets to be dropped into pastebin.
We make sure they are correctly documented (where it goes, what it does, 
wp version) and then we copy (or cut) the information to a Codex Code 
Snippets page.
No reason why the integration couldn't go further, but having a long 
list of code snippets does:
- enables browsing for people before they code their own
- enables us to point to what we know works
- allows those wanting to to learn in these smaller chunks

No credits for who donated what snippet - I doubt they would want all 
the followup questions which would certainly result.
This means people don't have to worry about being able to use codex.
Arguably, such a list as it grows could act as an inspiration for new 
snippets.

So we ask for code snippets - worth going for ?
