One great idea would be to disable anonymous edits. That way you could rollback all edits made by users, and then delete it and block the IP. Another idea would be to semi-protect high traffic pages, like the main page. This makes users wait four days (or so) until they can edit those. This would block drive-by spammers who are ingenious enough to make an account from editing high traffic pages. By the way, this should only be used on high traffic pages, for now anyway, as there is not nearly as much activity as on WikiPedia. Another thing used with success on WikiBooks is reviewing. Someone with reviewer privalages (easy to get if you are a major contributor, given by Admins I think) marks whether the current version is stable. Or you can select a previous version. Then anyone who is not logged in, and anyone who specifies it in their preferences, will see the stable version. If there is no stable version, the latest version is used.<div>
